Casualty decon alldecontMED

OWR Casualty Decon alldecontMED is used for the fast and effective detoxification of the skin after contamination from Chemical Warfare Agents. It is supplied in a kit containing 660 ml of liquid solutions and is applied directly to the skin using a hand sprayer. AlldecontMED is used as part of a personal NBC kind, a NBC first aid box in mobile medical units or at decontamination stations (NBC or medical).

Its powerful decontaminating properties can also be used to decontaminate clothing before it is removed to provide extra security and protection against contamination.

It will be effective in 1 minute on skin after applying. The chemical activity of alldecont is based on free chlorine, a lipophilic detergent and a skin-friendly buffer to reduce the pH value to 7, 5 and has been developed in cooperation with the German Army Medical Service.

Supplied as a kit in a robust plastic case, the two main liquid components are contained in 2 x 330 ml bottles. When decontamination is required each bottle is quickly and simply attached to a hand sprayer unit using a twist lock system. When used the spray head automatically applies the correct amount of each solution to the contaminated area to start the decontamination process.
