Scantex Side Protection

The Scantex Side Protection is a retrofit solution to protect the sides of a soft skinned vehicle. When the door is prepared with carryings studs, the flexible panels can be attached and removed within seconds making it possible to equip the vehicle for the trip if protection is considered advisable.

The Scantex Side Protection is designed to offer a high level of protection against the fragments from a Road Side Bomb detonating next to the vehicle. They are tailor-made for the actual door model. In addition it defeats rounds from an AK47 rifle fired at close range and all short handguns.
