HE round with self destruct mechanism - NGO N1

HE round with self destruct mechanism (NGO N1) is interchangeable with ammunition used in NATO and intended to be fired from single shot 40 mm NATO standard grenade launchers; M79, M203 and other launchers  with  comparable  technical  and  ballistic  parameters  (caliber,  cartridge  chamber,  grooves of the barrel).

This 40x46 mm HE round with self destruct mechanism is used to defeat enemy personnel, light field fortifications, unarmored targets, field ammunition stocks, military transport. These projectiles are fitted with point detonating fuse which is equipped with two safety mechanisms as well as self-destruct mechanism. This is to secure the high reliability of functioning and the safety for the gunner.
