Precision Fitting

Broens' group assembly and production facilities floor-space is 12,000 m² (Ingleburn, New South Wales) and 10,000 m² (Elizabeth, South Australia). Some of the major precision fitting, fabrication and assembly work conducted by Broens include:

• Quality accredited welding of mild steel, high tensile steel, stainless steel and Aluminium including ballistic grades.
• Brake press (200 Tonne) capable of pressing sheet sizes 5,000mm long.  This press produced materials handling grabs for the steel making and mining industry.
• 600 tonne hydraulic press
• 2 x 700 tonne mechanical press
• Folding, guillotine work (up to 2,400mm long @ 9.5 mm plate thickness), panelling and body work (cabins, caravans, container accommodation).
• The company also undertakes design and manufacturing of precision jigs and fixture assemblies.
• Bevelling, cold saw cutting, water-jet cutting, EDM, wire cutting, plasma cutting and oxy cutting.
