ODU develops and manufacture reliable solutions in the connector area.
The company was founded 1942 – since this time ODU is known as specialist for connector systems for military/defence applications. More than 60 year of experience in this market gives them the understanding for the customers needs.
ODU is already participating in various programs around the world for the "Soldier of the Future". This experience has led to the development of the new ODU AMC product series, in order to even better satisfy the requirements for the future placed on connection systems in this segment.
The following criteria were particularly important in the development.

This connector meet all features for “Soldier Modernisation” such as Lightweigt, small, easy handling, easy cleaning, extremely rugged and solid, bling mating, excellent shielding, watertight and so on.
Innovative & Flexible partner
As an innovative and flexible partner ODU offers standard products with individual contact configurations. The customer gets what he needs: signals, low/high voltage transmission, coax/triax, fiber optic, compressed air and fluids inserts are possible in one connector.
ODU standard push-pull connectors have a lifetime of greater than 5,000 mating cycles. Because of the push-pull locking mechanism an unintentional opening of the connection is not possible. Easy handling and blind mating are additional advantages of the connector systems. The connectors are available with a 360° EMI shielding and operating temperatures ranging form –40°C to +120°C.

ODU has all the necessary technologies under one roof, so we can respond to our customer’s requests flexibly and quickly. Design & Development, Tool manufacturing, Injection Molding, Electro-Plating, Stamping, Turning, Automated Assembly and Cable Assembly are all in our facility in Mühldorf, Germany.
