MARS Armor Ltd.

MARS Armor Ltd. was established in 2002 at first as a consulting and trading company and one year later, in 2003 the company opened the manufacturing facilities and produced its own bulletproof vests, ballistic systems, and accessories. Owners and managing directors of MARS Armor Ltd. are Plamen Tashkov, Ph.D. and his wife Mrs. Gergana Tashkova. Mr. Tashkov began his career in the field of personal ballistic protection as part of the research team at the Military Technical Research and Development Center, affiliated to the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence in the 1990s.

During its 17 years, the company has expanded its production facilities, as well as its product range. Today in the company are employed over 200 people and MARS Armor is recognized as one of the biggest producers of body armor for protection against bullets, fragments and cold steel in Europe, and has established itself as a major supplier worldwide. The company is unique as it is manufacturing only and exclusive items for personal ballistic protection - bulletproof vests, hard armor plates, ballistic shields, and combat helmets. In its production are used high-quality materials and the most advanced solutions in the field of individual ballistic protection.
