Non Destructive Investigation

The course provides a thorough foundation for First Responders, inspectors and engineers called upon to witness, supervise or conduct NDI activities in a potentially contaminated environment.

The course satisfies the formal training element of the Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A issued by ASNT, and the requirements of PCN/GEN/, and hence is the basic foundation which can lead to qualification under PCN, SNT-TC-1A, BS EN 4179 or NAS-410 requirements.  These services are in satisfaction of all major international certification standards.

The course comprises the following topics:

• Ultrasound;
• X-ray;
• Hydrogen Concentration Measurement (HCM);
• Neutron Induced prompt Photon spectrometry (NIPPS)
