Naval forces worldwide are adapting to an era of increasingly complex threats, from uncrewed systems, anti-ship weapons, cyber attacks, and electronic warfare to emerging challenges beneath the sea. As adversaries modernise at pace, navies must evolve their capabilities, strategies, and technologies to maintain operational advantage across all maritime domains.
Taking place from 2–4 February 2027 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Navy Tech 2027 will now incorporate Seabed Defence, a dedicated focus on protecting critical undersea infrastructure and offshore assets. As reliance on subsea energy networks, communication cables, and military systems grows, safeguarding the seabed has become a strategic priority. This new programme will examine emerging threats and the technologies required to counter them.
Bringing together senior military leaders, programme managers, engineers, scientists, and industry experts, the three-day conference and exhibition will explore digital integration, multi-domain operations, expeditionary capability, and seabed security. By fostering collaboration across defence, industry, and academia, Navy Tech 2027 provides a platform to address capability gaps, accelerate innovation, and shape the future of maritime and subsea operations.
