SMi Group first annual Future Armored Vehicles Active Protection Systems will convene on 11th -12th June 2019
Rebel groups are increasingly better equipped with man-portable anti-armor weapons and laser guided missile systems. In order to maintain maximum armored vehicle staying power in modern battlespaces, many nations are seeking to upgrade their vehicle survivability through the use of Active Protection Systems (APS). These systems can intercept ballistic weaponry through kinetic methods (Hard-Kill) or by interfering with warhead guidance and tracking systems (Soft-Kill).
As the only conference of its kind, Future Armored Vehicles Active Protection Systems USA, will provide unique briefings on the development and integration of Active Protection Systems. These briefings will include insight into Modular Systems, Hard-Kill and Soft-Kill technology, layered approaches to survivability and battle proven systems.
