Introduction:

Elbit Systems Ltd. announced today that it has been awarded a contract worth $1.635 billion to supply a range of advanced defence solutions to a European country.

Features:

First group: Long-range precision strike artillery-rocket systems, together with a wide range of unmanned reconnaissance and loitering aerial combat systems, spanning operational to tactical ranges, including hand-operated drones.

Second group: Advanced ISTAR capabilities, including SIGINT, COMINT, and electronic warfare systems. The package also features intelligence collection and processing systems, state-of-the-art electro-optical (E/O) and night-vision technologies, as well as upgrades and protective solutions for combat vehicles.

Additionally, Elbit Systems will provide a comprehensive military digitalisation and Network Combat Solution, supported by the latest generation of software and advanced hardware communication systems.

Implementation of the contract is expected to take place over a five-year period.
