Collins Elbit Vision Systems, a collaborative effort between Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of RTX and Elbit Systems of America, has secured a contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division. This contract encompasses development, engineering, logistics, and test support for the Enhanced Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System, which is employed in Block III F/A-18E/F and E/A-18G aircraft.

This achievement marks the official introduction of the Zero-G Helmet Mounted Display System+ (HMDS+)™ by CEVS. The Zero-G HMDS+™ promises to provide pilots with an enhanced perspective of the battlefield directly within their helmets, facilitating quicker decision-making and thereby increasing overall survivability and effectiveness.

CEVS Co-General Manager, Jeff Hoberg, remarked, "Our team embarked on a novel development approach that involved ongoing input from pilots to ensure the deployment of the most effective solution. The outcome is a cutting-edge, adaptable HMDS that carries forward CEVS's impressive legacy of fielded HMDS solutions."

Furthermore, the Zero-G HMDS+™ boasts a well-balanced, ultra-lightweight design that will substantially reduce the physical strain experienced by pilots.

For the past three decades, CEVS has remained at the forefront of innovating and delivering solutions to enhance the safety and readiness of pilots.
