Frontgrade Technologies a prominent independent supplier of high-reliability, advanced electronic solutions for space and national security missions and a portfolio company of Veritas Capital ("Veritas"), announced today the successful completion of its acquisition of Aethercomm. Aethercomm is a well-established designer and manufacturer of high-power radio frequency (RF) solid-state power amplifiers, transmit/receive components, and high-power RF switches.

With a history spanning over 60 years, Frontgrade and its products have been integral to all major U.S. space platforms. The merger of the two companies enables Frontgrade to provide comprehensive, integrated, and turnkey solutions to aerospace and defense customers. By integrating Aethercomm's active RF amplifiers, switches, and hardware with Frontgrade's existing antenna solutions, the combined entity will deliver a broader range of products and services to its clientele.

Following the acquisition, Aethercomm will operate as a division of Frontgrade and will be rebranded as "Frontgrade Aethercomm." Todd Thornton and the Aethercomm management team will continue to lead the division, with Thornton serving as General Manager.

KippsDeSanto served as the exclusive financial advisor to Aethercomm, while Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP acted as legal counsel to Veritas and Frontgrade for the transaction. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
