Security alarms and protection systems in the Air Force are automated tactical intrusion detection and surveillance systems assembled to safeguard airbases and other Air Force establishments.

These systems comprise of thermal imagers, sensors, communications, and power and annunciation components.

Some of the most intricate security alarms in the Air Force include the US’ Tactical Automated Security System (TASS) which provides for wide-area and perimeter intrusion detection, assessment, and surveillance via both hardwire and UHF/VHF communications.

Many other security systems also have CCTV cameras, Infrared detectors, laser systems, thermal cameras, and others for surveillance of airbases.

We will come up with a list of the right suppliers for this category, soon.
