airforce / command control

Air Force command and control are ground stations that help the pilots of fighter jets or cargo aircraft carry out rescue, elimination or reconnaissance missions with high accuracy through round-the-clock guidance.

Ground stations use specialized command and control systems and equipment including dedicated computers, satellite stations, spy satellite (X-ray and infrared) access, and many others.

Some of these systems and equipment include transponders, GPS task management and navigation system, communication systems, EFIS, MFD, PLS, etc.

Command control systems also include Mission Control Centers (MCC) and Combat Management Systems (CMS). Some of these units are shelter and trailer based, while others are large room sized units. A few of the equipment found in MCC and CMS are ruggedized switch, precision timing unit, radio interoperability gateway, and deployment snapshot.

We are still under the process of preparing a list of suppliers for this category.
