United States Air Force Awards MicroPact Contract to Develop Global Law Enforcement System

4 December 2018

MicroPact, the passion and technology that’s transforming government, has been awarded a contract to provide an enterprise law enforcement case and incident management system to the United States Air Force (USAF). The Air Force Justice Information System (AFJIS) will be powered by entellitrak, a low-code application development platform for case management. The system will support the law enforcement mission of the USAF Security Forces (SF). It will serve approximately 30,000 security forces personnel worldwide.

The multi-year award includes entellitrak licenses, maintenance, and professional services over the course of the contract. It includes licenses for between 10,000 and 15,000 concurrent users around the world.

“With this AFJIS award, MicroPact continues to expand our support for the case management needs of the United States Armed Forces,” said Kris Collo, Founder, President and CEO of MicroPact. “The entellitrak platform is also being implemented as the Naval Justice Information System (NJIS) for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Our experience enables us to provide military organizations around the world with a model to follow when it comes to tracking, investigating, and reporting on law enforcement activities. It is an honor to help the USAF SF ensure the safety and protection of all USAF personnel and communities.”

The USAF SF handles law enforcement and other police services at USAF bases worldwide. The AFJIS solution, built on entellitrak, will provide USAF SF with case and workflow management for a full range of activities associated with law enforcement and criminal justice. For example, AFJIS will act as a single platform to collect and manage the continuous stream of data associated with investigations, as well as helping investigators uncover insights by visualizing and reporting on data from multiple sources.

The platform will also be used for overseeing the data regarding people in custody, from booking to release, parole, or probation. Leveraging the extensive capabilities of the entellitrak platform, AFJIS will be able to manage data including base patrol and incident reporting, traffic monitoring, investigations, detention and confinement, reports, and analysis.

The nature of the USAF Law Enforcement mission requires timely reporting and management of all base law enforcement activities and data. The AFJIS solution will leverage the entellitrak Data-First™ approach to comply with the federally-mandated Defense Incident-Based Reporting System (DIBRS), which details the reporting data elements needed to comply with federal criminal incident reporting. entellitrak is a web-based COTS platform that can be quickly deployed via software configuration rather than custom coding.
