STAMFORD, Conn., Dec. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- PASSUR^® Aerospace, Inc. is pleased to announce that Niels Steenstrup has joined as Chief Commercial Officer, a new position at the company.

PASSUR's mission is to grow global airspace capacity to meet future demand for air travel without adding to costly infrastructure. They do this by creating a digital collaborative platform where airlines, airports, and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) optimize their internal operations while also solving problems that can only be achieved by sharing data and information on a common platform. PASSUR's analytics extract meaningful information to predict, manage, and remove constraints on the surface and in the air.

Niels will be responsible for the growth of the PASSUR platform globally, creating value for aviation stakeholders worldwide in areas such as On-Time Performance, Asset Utilization, Hub Optimization, Completion Factor, and Disruption Recovery.

Niels was most recently Senior Vice President, International at Gogo, the Inflight Internet Company. His roles included leading the definition and launch of the international business. Previously Niels led product, marketing and sales activities at both Gogo and Connexion by Boeing. Niels has more than 20 years' experience delivering innovative global solutions in entrepreneurial and corporate settings. This includes driving adoption of online and technology services at Reuters, Fidelity Investments, Bank of America, McKinsey & Company, and Goldman Sachs. Niels is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
