IEM Wins Major Department of Defense National Security Services Contract

16 March 2019

RESEARCH TRIANGLE, N.C., March 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, IEM—a tech-enabled global homeland security and disaster management consulting firm—announced it was awarded a $37 billion U.S. Army contract to support a wide array of Department of Defense national security services through the Army's Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.

Under this IDIQ contract, IEM will be eligible to compete for individual task orders in competition with other awardees. Tasks will cover a wide range of national security services including engineering, research, development, testing and evaluation, logistics, acquisition, strategic planning, education, and training.

"We are proud to win a prime contractor position on this vital national security contract," said IEM President and CEO Madhu Beriwal. "This effort will provide IEM opportunities to deliver energy, agility, innovation—and above all outcomes—to a vital U.S. Army mission area. We look forward to providing robust and affordable technical solutions to planners and decision makers, and most importantly, the warfighters serving our nation."

The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) administers the RS3 multiple award contract with a 10-year ordering period, which includes a 5-year base and a 5-year optional ordering period. The IDIQ contract will allow IEM to provide knowledge-based professional engineering support services to command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) missions, in addition to programs being executed by the Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Department of Defense agencies, and other federal agencies.

For over 34 years, IEM has provided data-driven, technology solutions in high-risk environments to help decision makers build safe, secure, and resilient communities.  IEM's defense solutions are designed to anticipate the emerging challenges our nation will face in an increasingly globalized and complicated world while supporting defense agencies' mission of reducing threats to the nation's national security at home and on the battlefield.
