The US Air Force has awarded a $50,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Robbins-Gioia, LLC (RG). Under this contract, RG will assist in exploring more effective and efficient ways to support Air Force business operations and refine the development of requirements supporting the information technology across all 38 mission areas.
"We're excited to be able to support the Air Force in achieving its mission to modernize their business systems to support the continuing needs of the warfighter," said Brad King, CEO of Robbins-Gioia. "Our rigorous and commercially proven approach melds perfectly with the DoD BCAC [Business Capability Acquisition Cycle] to accelerate continuous modernization of business systems while avoiding the risks and pitfalls of 'big bang' implementation programs. The RG solution focuses on consistent delivery of high value, measurable, and sustainable outcomes across Air Force mission areas."
"The decision by the Air Force to choose RG as a provider of these services is a testament to RG's 38-year history of program leadership in systems modernization for Defense and commercial customers," said Jeff Philippart, Director, Defense Business Unit. "Our unique LINKProcess™ methodology combined with RG's legacy of Program Management and Agile delivery excellence provides a robust framework for elicitation, validation, and collaboration to document and manage complex requirements. The RG framework accelerates prioritization, modernization, and innovation of systems and business processes."
LINKProcess™ is RG's proven methodology that leverages three decades of commercial and Government experience for the capture and management of business requirements into a common and dynamic repository. Combined with expert facilitation and ViRGIL, the Virtual RG Innovation Lab, it augments traditional requirements management with the evaluation and maturation of new ideas and innovations as part of a structured program aligned with the overarching goals of the Air Force.
At RG, we partner with our clients to test and refine every solution to meet their exact needs. We take pride in tackling complex management challenges with fresh and innovative insights and in transforming our clients' vision into reality.
