NTT DATA Among Awardees as a Prime Contractor on the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation Contract Vehicle

8 February 2019

NTT DATA Services Federal Government, a public sector subsidiary of NTT DATA Services, a recognized leader in global technology services, has been awarded a prime contractor position on the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) contract vehicle. The multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle enables NTT DATA to compete for a broad array of Navy services.

SeaPort-NxG, which has a five-year base period and one five-year option period, divides workstreams between engineering and program management support services. The Navy procured nearly $5 billion in services through the SeaPort-NxG predecessor contract, SeaPort-e, including 10 task orders with NTT DATA.

With this history of successful performance as a prime contractor under SeaPort-e, NTT DATA will continue to support U.S. Navy clients with a full complement of services covered by the SeaPort-NxG contract. NTT DATA has significant qualifications and a record of delivery performance in several areas of the SeaPort-NxG vehicle, including program management, financial management, engineering, and logistics support, as well as NTT DATA’s extensive expertise delivering cybersecurity and network system services.

“With our deep vertical expertise in the public sector, we’ve successfully partnered with NAVSEA for many years to help transform legacy systems,” said Kevin Durkin, president, NTT DATA Services Federal Government. “SeaPort Next Gen will allow us to continue delivering the latest solutions to our current and future Navy clients.”
