The meeting between the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Vigen Sargsyan and Deputy Director General of the Rostec Corporation, Mr. DmitriyShugaev was held in Yerevan, communicated the RA Ministry of Defence press-service.

The reason for Mr. DmitriyShugaev’s visit to Armenia is the participation in the First International Exhibition of Arms and Defence Technologies, ArmHiTec 2016 that is taking place in the city of Yerevan.

The prospects of setting up production cooperation and joint ventures in the field of integrated defence systems and IT-solutions were discussed in the course of the meeting, announced the press-service of the Ministry.

According to the information of the RA Ministry of Defence, Mr. Vigen Sargsyan wished the guest success and effective work at the International Exhibition ArmHiTec 2016 and pointed out the necessity of consistent development of cooperation aimed at strengthening stability and security of the two states.
