UK-based defence and security consulting company Burstock has announced plans to invest approximately $150 million (equivalent to 129.2 million euros) in the construction of a state-of-the-art defence manufacturing facility in North Macedonia. The project, which was revealed on October 24, 2025, is positioned to significantly strengthen the European region's supply chain for defence equipment and systems, reflecting a growing trend of strategic investments in the sector as regional security requirements escalate. According to Burstock executives, the facility will focus on the production and integration of modern military hardware, with an emphasis on next-generation armoured vehicles, tactical communications systems, and modular infrastructure components.
