Polyamp was founded in 1966, producing switch mode DC or DC converter. This has lead the Polymap develop the first digitally controlled degaussing loop coil amplifier in the world, in the year 1982. They are still fully operational in all RSwN vessels. During the 90s, Polyamp expanded its marketing to international markets. Electromagnetic signatures on ships and submarines

Polyamp Systems Division specializes in the design, manufacture and supply of various electromagnetic signatures on ships and submarines for application within the naval industry. Magnetic signature management serves to be the main tool in prediction, design and evaluation of underwater ship-signatures.  Magnetic signature management is adoptable for all transportable ranges like sea and land.   The utilities offered by these magnetic signature management include   Signal processing and data management, Quick, semi-automatic, coil prediction, Powerful display and print routines and Built in training for operators and degaussing technician. Magnetic sweeper manufacturer
