Rugged MIL Grade Console

Dinrack Modular systems offer a wide range of Rugged Mill Grade Consoles to its clients. The Rugged Mil Grade Consoles range includes cabinets for shipboard applications, ruggedized cases, and subracks with high EMC shielding effectiveness, systems for buss standards such as VME, VME64X and CompactPCI.

Construction:

• Aluminium extrusions made of HE 30 (IS64430/Us 6351) hard alloy
• Aluminium sheets of HE 30 or HE 20 grade
• Stainless steel hardware
• Welded construction

Inside chromate converted – outside PU painted (with option for fire retardant paint.

Cooling system

• Series flow or parallel flow cooling
• Close circuit Air to air ( CAA) cooling through specially developed heat exchangers with 100% control over dust and humidity

VME Chassis

The VME chassis has a VME 64X motherboard with either active or passive configuration, and 12VDC fans with 10W per slot cooling. VME chassis has 500W SMPS pluggable with an input of 90V to 270V. Its range of possible output includes 3.3V and 80A; +5V and 50A; +12V and 7.5A; and -12V and 1.5A. Current sharing is possible with the first three options. The VME Chassis also has a hot-swapping facility for power supplies and cards, and an optional Rear Transition Module (RTM) facility. Its operating-temperature range is 20°C to 70°C.

cPCI racks

Dinrack can customise cPCI racks as per the specifications of the clients.
