Since inception, Alligator Designs has successfully developed, and deployed numerous products and customized systems for many of the prestigious projects of Defense & Aerospace and other market segments. Our capabilities include design, development, manufacture and deployment of turnkey systems to meet unique customer requirements deployable for Land, Air & Sea environmental specifications. We provide extensive product support including user training, post installation support through the systems useful life cycle.
Maintenance and support of the system over its useful life are simplified by maximum use of common hardware components resulting in a minimum number of distinct spare part types and strict compliance with various stringent standards. Migration from legacy systems to customized state-of-the-art versions has been one of the facets of Alligator’s capabilities.

ATRs
UNICORN/RHINO Series: ATRs are designed and built to meet extreme rugged harsh environmental conditions as per MIL-STD-810F / RTCA-DO-160 / MIL-STD-901D standards supporting for mission critical designs implementation on VPX / VXS / VME64x / cPCI or custom platforms in standard volume/size or custom for specific needs.
Custom I/O Interfaces through I/O PWB implementation eliminates cable harness and easily secured for high shock & vibration applications.
Rugged Displays
MaxVIEW series: Standard display sizes from 6.4” to 24” are designed to meet Defence & Aerospace environmental conditions and features with BUILT-IN-TEST facility as well. It offers impressive quality, meets the most stringent requirements in terms of picture quality, ergonomics and environmental friendliness. With its high resolution shadow mask and high refresh rates, MaxVIEW Display is the ideal choice for graphic intensive applications.
Command Consoles
Console with single or multi head displays for Shelter / Ship borne & Air borne applications are designed as per MIL-STD-1472F guidelines. The console structure is designed to meet the environmental conditions as per MIL-STD-810F / RTCA-DO-160 / MIL-STD-901D standards.
Backplanes:
VME Backplanes:
Our range of VMEbus backplanes complying with open architecture standard specification and establishes a framework for 8-, 16-, 32, and 64-bit parallel-bus architectures. The mechanical specifications backplanes are based on IEC 297 and IEEE 1101.1 specifications. The range includes VME32 (3U), VME64x (3U & 6U), VXS (VITA41) & VPX (VITA46 & 48) also catering to rugged requirements with extended temperature range from -40ºC to 85ºC
cPCI Backplanes:
Standard cPCI Backplane designed to meet PICMG standards for 16 / 32 / 64 bit system implementation upto 8 slots in 3U or 6U form factor. cPCI Backplane also implements with enhanced PCI bridge catering to slots count upto 16 slots. Extended operating temperature from -40DegC to +85DegC are available.
Handheld Terminals
IntelliPac rugged PDAs/Handheld terminals are designed to meet harsh environmental conditions. The lightweight design integrates small size display, processor peripherals, expandable memory support. Designed using ABS, made for military forces to communicate information related to transportation, aviation, navigation and security applications.
