Safe & Arming device is used in Electronic Fuze for medium calibre 40 mm Anti-aircraft ammunition and it provides mechanical safety to ammunition, in addition to electronic safety. This safe and arming device is miniature in size, the gears pinion and sector gear assembly is housed in between a number of brass plates having suitable recesses. The safe and arming device’s set back forces allow gear train to function which provides required delay in arming of the Fuze for muzzle and troop safety. They can customize this safe and arming device to its clients as per their specifications.
